Clément Sordet Wins Turkish Airlines Challenge

On Sunday 8th May, the 2016 Turkish Airlines Challenge came right down to the wire during an action packed final round at the Gloria Golf Club in Belek, Antalya, Turkey.

Clément Sordet and fellow frenchman Matthieu Pavon battled it out until the very last moment, when Sordet triumphed over his compatriot with a magnificent birdie on the 18th to finish on a final score of -20.

“I’m really proud of what I did with Jim, my caddie, today. We stayed patient and made some really good shots.”– Clément Sordet, 2016 Turkish Airlines Challenge Champion.

His win at the Turkish Airlines Challenge stands 23 year old Sordet in good stead for the rest of the season, during which he will compete at the 145th Open Championship at Royal Troon.
