The 2016 Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup had its busiest month to date in May with another 21 names added to the ever growing list of Grand Finalists.
Former International footballers Alan Smith and Alan McInally and current Boyzlife duo Brian Mcfadden and Keith Duffy joined 1,400 other competitors on some of the world’s top golf courses, including two former Ryder Cup venues, The K Club and The Belfry.
Zhailjau GC, host venue of the Challenge Tour’s Kazakhstan Open and Bro Hoff Slott GC, home of the European Tour’s Nordea Masters welcomed guests for the Almaty and Stockholm qualifiers respectively.
Sofia, Pisa, Graz and Hurghada were debut events for the series and were a great success whilst the newly opened Dreamland Golf Club hosted the Baku qualifier.
Events in Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta completed May’s Asian swing whilst Geneva, Prague, Munich, Madrid, Athens, Kiev and London concluded the European swing.
June will see a further thirteen Grand Final spots up for grabs.
