September Concludes with Seoul Event as TAWGC Nears Completion

Following a historic month of September, the 2019 TAWGC Series approaches the final stages with 11 events yet to play ahead of the 2019 Grand Finals in Antalya later this year.

Seoul was the curtain closer on a month which saw the series travel to 21 countries across five continents at Star Hue Golf Club where almost 100 players set out to secure a spot in the Grand Finals.

The September events began in Europe with Stockholm, Oslo and Edinburgh, where Anthony Carroll came out on top at the famous Archerfield Links.

Africa’s only stop in September was next as Lagos was the stop at Ikoyi Golf Club. A trip to  the America’s followed with Washington and Panama followed by St Petersburg in consecutive days. Los Angeles, Atlanta, Buenos Aires aand Chicago were next on th scheudle which to the middle of September had taken on a North and South American theme.

Joseph McGinley then won at the K Club where players got the chance to follow in the footsteps of Tiger Woods and co in the 2006 Ryder Cup for the Dublin event. Two days later, the series returned to Colombo and Royal Colombo Golf Club.

The final week of the month was a busy one with 9 events in 4 days including the flagship home event in Istanbul at Kemer Golf and Country Club. Cavit Ersoy was the men’s category champion while Aysen Erdogan won the ladies category for the short trip to Antalya.

Meanwhile, there were events in Kibris, Houston, New Delhi, Bilbao, Barcelona and Malaga to bring an end to an historic month.
